AFTER YOU LEAVE We will: Winterize your home including draining water heaters and water lines, winterize all toilets, turn off nonessential power breakers, replace heating system filters and adjust thermostats to economical but safe temperatures - Clean out your refrigerator and discard or freeze perishable foods
- Check all window and door seals to make certain your home is weather tight
- Lock all windows and doors and secure any other areas that may be prone to human or animal intrusion
WHILE YOU ARE AWAY We will: |
BEFORE YOU RETURN We will: - Turn on water, fill and start your water heater and reset the thermostats to the temperature you request. We will flush and clean all toilets
- Arrange for snow removal from driveways, walkways and decks if not otherwise contracted by you
- Arrange for firewood delivery if requested
- Provide a calendar of community, entertainment and children's events covering the time you will be in the area
- Start and check any vehicles that are left at the property
NOTE CMS Property Caretakers does not add any mark up to services provided by others such as contractors, firewood supplies, snow removal services etc. We have relationships with reliable, licensed, code-conscious electricians, plumbers, HVAC contractors and general contractors/carpenters. In the event that you require the services of these trades while you are away, we will be happy to arrange for prompt quality repairs. We do not mark up any services that are arranged through CMS! You are billed only for the work that is done. |
